This blog will be sometimes rambling, but hopefully entertaining, thoughts that race through my mind or some days just crawl through at a snails pace. About Me

- Christian, mother of 2 sons, Ken aka Spike & Billy & grandma to Niko. Often called the 'Hippie Chick' because of my peace loving ways. Not of world peace (although that would be great) but just in my own little space of the world. Was diagnosed in late 2008 with advanced breast cancer & thus began the fight of my life. I've been in remission for just over a year. My partner in life, Phil (12 yrs together), was my total caregiver 24/7 and thank God for my blessings. I'm still trying to get my strength back & return to somewhat 'normal'. I use that term loosely as I have never considered myself 'normal' but rather special and unique. I've been blessed in my life with the gift of loving. Not only my wonderful family (which includes 2 sisters, 2 brothers and their families) but also my close friends which make up my extended family. I have been wanting to begin this blog for years ... in hopes of one day even writing the 'novel of a lifetime' but it remains a distant dream for now ... Hope you enjoy & hopefully gain something from the ramblings of this ~Hippie Chick~.
